Online and Windsor Blackjack Access
We run blackjack in Ontario in two formats: online and on the floor at Caesars Windsor. The online lobby is available at caesarspalaceonline.com/on/ with live dealer tables streamed by Ezugi. In Windsor, we spread about 85 table games, with blackjack both on the main floor and in the high-limit room, open 24/7.
Online, you will see several blackjack variants in the live casino section. Games stream in HD from real studios, and dealers handle physical cards in front of the camera. At Windsor, tables are grouped by minimum bet - more affordable limits near the main walkways, higher limits in the separate high-limit area.
Both the online platform and the Ontario-facing operation at Windsor run under the iGaming rules that came into effect in April 2022. Access flows are different, but we keep core blackjack rules, dealing procedures and payouts aligned as much as possible.
Live Dealer Blackjack Variants and Limits
Through our Ezugi integration we offer three main live dealer formats. Free Bet Blackjack allows specific splits and double downs without extra chips on those plays. Infinite Blackjack uses one seat and one set of dealer cards, but every player at the table makes their own decisions. Power Blackjack introduces multiplier cards that can increase payouts on eligible winning hands.
| Variant | Provider | Min Bet | Max Bet |
|---|---|---|---|
| Free Bet Blackjack | Ezugi | CAD 1.00 | CAD 20,000 |
| Infinite Blackjack | Ezugi | CAD 1.00 | CAD 20,000 |
| Power Blackjack | Ezugi | CAD 1.00 | CAD 20,000 |
Video feeds come from dedicated studios with trained dealers. On your screen, you see your cards, the dealer upcard and clearly marked action buttons in real time. You tap hit, stand, double or split; the software reads the command and locks in your choice. When the hand ends, payouts land in your balance a few seconds later.
Ezugi is certified by eCOGRA, which tests random number generation and game fairness. Regular audits review shuffle procedures and payout calculations to keep outcomes within the approved standards.
Caesars Windsor Rules and Payout Structure
On most Caesars Windsor blackjack tables, a natural blackjack pays 3:2. We use multi-deck shoes, some of them linked to continuous shuffling machines. Dealers stand on hard 17, while soft 17 conditions depend on the specific table, so it is worth checking the placard.
The high-limit room follows a slightly different model. On certain soft 17 tables there, blackjack pays 6:5 rather than 3:2. Maximum bets go up to about CAD 25,000 on select premium tables, which sits at the higher end of Ontario limits. Minimum bets move around with traffic - Friday and Saturday nights usually start higher than quiet weekday afternoons.
You can always ask the dealer to walk through rules before you place chips. House rules are printed at each table, including how splits work, whether doubling after split is allowed, and if late surrender is offered.
Getting Started with Online Blackjack
Opening an online account usually only takes a few minutes. Go to caesarspalaceonline.com/on/ and click the registration button. We ask for your email, a password, your mobile number, full legal name that matches a valid ID, plus Ontario address and postal code. You also confirm your date of birth and accept the terms.
The minimum deposit is CAD 10. Funding options include Visa, Mastercard and several additional methods in the cashier. Card payments typically arrive instantly so you can head to blackjack without delay.
On new accounts, the first deposit is subject to a 15x wagering requirement. This must be played on eligible slots within seven days before withdrawals are released. The requirement applies to the deposited amount and any related bonus balance.
Table Limits and Bets
Before you open a live table online, you see the current minimum and maximum bets for that game. Chip sizes usually range from CAD 1 up to CAD 500. You choose a chip size, click in the betting circle and confirm the stake. If the wager falls outside the table limits, the software simply does not accept it.
You can change bet size only in the betting window between rounds. Once the dealer starts dealing, the stake for that hand is locked. After the result is settled, you can pick a new chip size or hit the clear bet button to reset.
We group tables roughly as follows:
- Standard tables - CAD 1 minimum, CAD 100 maximum
- Mid-tier tables - CAD 5 minimum, CAD 500 maximum
- High-limit tables - CAD 25 minimum, CAD 20,000 maximum
At Caesars Windsor, physical placards on each table show the current minimums. Limits usually climb in peak times, especially late on Fridays and Saturdays. If you are not sure, confirm the minimum with the dealer before sitting down.
